  1. -A docent is on site when the house is open to tell visitors about the architecture & history of the house.

  2. -Are you interested in becoming a volunteer for the house? There are many ways to help the house from docent to gardening to online communications.  See the Volunteers tab to learn more and contact us.

ADMISSION:
The museum is privately owned and admission is free  Your donations to help support the costs of continuing restoration and maintaining the building are greatly appreciated.  You can donate while at the museum or you can donate online safely using your credit card or bank account through PayPal by clicking here:

PHOTOGRAPHY

  1. Photography is permitted for personal use only and subject to the following limitations:

  2. *No photography requiring flash or additional lighting sources is permitted in the house.

  3. *No video or audio recording is permitted during the presentation by the docent.

  4. *All commercial photography or video taping whether inside the house or outside on the grounds requires prior approval from the owners.  Please call or use contact form.


  1. Members of the media are encouraged to notify the site in advance of a visit.

AMENITIES

The house is small and does not have restroom facilities. There are no seating areas inside but benches are placed outside the house. The house has been reconstructed using colonial era accessibility.

Parking for Hill House is clearly marked.  Please respect the neighbors and park only in designated areas.
